 What goes up and never comes down?

Two answers really Tax and Age.

No-one wants to talk about tax, but age we cant ignore.

One day we are young and full of energy.

Then a few grey hairs and a bit of middle age spread.

Then we get old.

But we shouldn't let that get in the way of our Naturism. After all it's not about how you look, it is about enjoying the free air on your uncovered skin and enjoying it with friends and others of a like mind. 

Heat Wave

 You know,  some would think this is ideal weather for naturists. Clear skies and hot sun, but it could be too hot. We have to be careful not to get burnt. And some of us cant stand the temperature to be too high. We prefer moderate heat, where a tan could take weeks to develop and there is little chance of burning.

We can of course stay inside until the cool of the evening and make the most of the indoor heat.

Interesting moment.

 I have this image as the home screen and the lock screen on my mobile phone, which is great. Every time I use the phone I'm reminded of how beautiful Maja was in her younger days.

However it can cause some interesting moments, like when you realise someone is looking over your shoulder or when a friend asks to use your phone.

On Tuesday I had such a moment, I had gone to collect my hearing aids (age gets to all of us). These hearing aids have an app so they can be fine tuned to any situation as you wear them. It's a great idea, but to set them up the lady hearing expert needed to take the phone and start the app. This of course meant she had to see the above picture. 

As you all know, we are not shy about anyone seeing our pictures, in fact we love it. But we dont want to upset anyone and some people easily upset by nudity. 

So before I handed it to her I warned her about the picture, she didn't seem offended at all and even commented how beautiful Maja was. That was a relief, I wonder what she said to her colleagues😀

Getting outdoors and enjoying it.

 With summer having cooled slightly, try some nude outdoor pursuits. They will keep you warm with the aid of a little sun.

Cool Summer

Well it's supposed to be summer time, but round here it's a wee bit cold for summer. Mind you it is July Fortnight, and here in Leicester we used to have factory shutdown for the first two weeks in July every summer and it was always cooler than the rest of the summer. August two weeks were usually best.

Anyway just to remind us that summer is here, below are some beach pics.

Happy Models

When taking Naturist pictures or even just nude pictures, make sure your model is happy. You can see from this picture that Maja is both happy and relaxed. this and the picture below are among my favourite pictures because, not only is she happy and relaxed, but there is and air of innocence about it.

An interesting thought on this blog, in  the past we have heard (often from the gutter press) that girls who pose for this type of picture are not nice girls, they are likely to sleep around etc.  In my experience over the years, I have found that the girls least likely to be naturists or pose for nude pictures are those who are known for sleeping around.

When I was younger I often heard that men who  liked others to see their wives naked or let others see photos of them nude were "mentally unbalanced" and more recently an agony column on the net advised a woman to dump her partner because he expressed a desire for him and his wife to be nude whenever possible and wanted to take pictures of them or get friends to photograph them. They had discussed it and she had asked if he wanted his friends to have sex with her. He was emphatic in saying no, but he would be proud for them to see her naked. The wife was unsure because of what she had always been told as she grew up. The agony advisor didn't believe him. There was no follow up on this but it would have been nice to know how it ended.

The same question comes up from time to time on sites like Qora and the contributors seem split but mostly in favour of doing it and more than a few said they already did it. Some said their wives served beer to them naked when they had friends around to watch sport or films.

Where to be Nude

You may have heard that, in the  UK at least, it is actually legal to be nude in public places and the police have guidelines about not arresting people for simply being nude as long as you are not doing it to cause a public disturbance, you know like deliberately flashing someone or waving about your erection.

Social nudity is a wonderful thing and gives you a feeling of freedom. Nude driving can be great, I have driven all over Britain naked. I usually have a road atlas handy in case of a sudden need, cant use a GPS for that.

It's not what you do, it's the way that you do it!

 A good title that, because it explains perfectly the difference between naturism and porn. It also explains the Law of the Land regarding public nudity.

Innocent nudity such as shown here is not illegal, even if some less enlightened police forces, might warn you against it. In the UK you can even go nude about town and it is still legal.

What isn't legal is public sex or using nudity to shock people as in flashers etc.

Some years ago we were enjoying an evening at Rivendell, A lovely club that is well worth a visit. 

While we were there we tried the facilities, the hot pool was very relaxing.  We were joined by some men from a Southampton naturist club who took places opposite the steps, it never occurred to me why until Maja decided to go for a swim in the cooler swimming pool.

I was answering someones question on the Facebook naturist group when I thought this could probably do with repeating for the new viewers of the blog. It also occurred to me that if any of you have stories of their naturist experiences, even if you dont have pictures, please contact me in comments and I will be happy to include them.

My First Time – and Afterwards

I felt the fear gripping me, this could not be happening, why had I agreed to come?  I looked across at John, he stood smiling and urging me to do something that I had been told from earliest childhood never to do ….

"Come on," he said and disappeared out of the chalet door.  I felt trapped.  Where could I go?  He had abandoned me in a strange place, and the only way out was through that door, naked in front of everyone …. Suppressing a shudder, I took off my bra and panties and with an immense effort of will followed him out into the sunlight, thinking to myself, "It isn't real, it isn't important, I shall never ever do this again."

John was talking to somebody, seemingly unaware of the fact that he was standing there stark naked – as was his companion, as were the figures seen all around the field.  Fearful but resigned, not daring to look directly at anyone, I went to his side.

An old man, wearing only a tee-shirt, took my hand gently and introduced himself, saying in a fatherly way, "Your first time?" 

He was so old you could not imagine him to be lusting after these female bodies walking about within his reach, a small consolation when my mind was filled with my mother's warnings from my childhood: nice girls don't do things like that; struggling with my own reason saying there is nothing wrong with the human body, it is not shameful, just do it this once and never again; curiosity about what makes otherwise sane people do such things ….

The old man held onto my hand and showed me around the wooded grounds of the club; screened from outside view, they were full of sunshine, green growth everywhere, birds singing, and gradually I came out of my trance and started to look around. 

I felt the warmth of the sun on my skin and felt the light breeze on places that the wind had never before reached.  Slowly I began to gain confidence and feel I might survive this ordeal; nobody need ever know, it was going to be alright after all.

Having nodded and smiled back shyly at distant figures enjoying the various sports facilities of the club, when we returned to the chalet I was faced with other naked people at close quarters, and made a big brave effort to conquer my fears.

I shyly spoke to one or two people, and received an invitation to have a cup of tea with one couple.  So naturists eat and drink like everyone else!  We both accepted the hospitality gratefully, and sat eating the other couple's sandwiches whilst making small talk, relaxing bit by bit.

Later the woman suggested a game of tennis, which I had loved at school, and although I was a bit out of practice I enjoyed running about after the ball, and even caught myself sneaking a glance at her man as he dashed about.

The woman, too, was happy to be looked at, and gradually I became aware that I had just as good a figure as anybody else – in fact, being young and slim (in those days!) I compared quite favourably with the other bodies bared to view, maybe not a Page Three model, but with a little suntanning on my white bits, I would be quite attractive, and it wasn't a beauty contest was it, there were some quite fat people and some middle-aged or elderly ones.

Later we went for a swim in the pool which the club members, as they proudly explained, had built themselves – no chlorine, just soft water, and the smooth velvet feel of the water against my skin was absolute bliss.  It reminded me of swimming alone in the local river as a child, when I slipped my costume off to glide bare-skinned among the water weeds, and of pulling it on again in panic at the sound of voices coming towards me.

As the sun began to go down and the warmth ebbed away from the summer day, we said goodbye to our new friends and made our way home.

  When John asked, "Well, what did you think?", I found myself asking, "Can we go again next Sunday?!"

 To brighten you up in these pre spring days, I thought I'd post some early summer pics.

Time

 As time moves on and we get older, we lose the bloom of our youth and begin to wonder if naturism is a young persons game. 

Well, yes it is, it's also for the middle aged and the elderly. In short, like life, naturism can go on till the end.

We all wish we could be young again, but not being young shouldn't stop you doing the things you enjoy. 

There is no reason to give up if you want to carry on.

Is Naturism sexual?

The answer is yes, it can be. But is there anything wrong in that?

Clothing can be sexy and it is often said that the sexy part of clothing is what you don't see. 

Stand a beautiful girl in a mini bikini along side one that is nude, which one do you look at most.

A friend of mine years ago said "see one and you've seen them all." Not strictly true, but you can see where he is going. It's what you don't see that attracts the most interest.

Naturists are often accused of having sex and its true, but textiles do as well. 

We are accused of having sex in the outdoors, but textiles do as well.

Some naturists are accused of having  sex in public, but some textiles do that as well. Dogging is a much publicised example.

Naturism and Textile-ism  are not so different, the same thoughts pass through your mind when you see an attractive member of the opposite sex, wether that person is clothed or not.

How intimate??

How intimate can you go without it being porn, I would say Porn is in the eyes of the beholder. A beautiful couple making gentle love isn't necessarily porn.  if a man and a woman who are unknown to each other and have no feelings for each other, are paid to have sex for the cameras, I would think of that as porn.

A loving couple making love for the camera and for their own enjoyment are not making porn, even if they have an invited camera man/woman to record events. Is it wrong to let someone else see you making love, I dont think so and an experience we had some years ago portray this pretty well.

 We lived in a house of three flats, one on each floor, we had the ground floor and the largest of the flats. We were friendly with the couple above us and often in and out of each others place.

One night Maja and I were making love in front of the fire. I was lying on my back and Maja sat astride me, we were reaching the highlights when the door opened and a voice said "Maja are you there?"

She looked round the door and saw us, for a moment she just watched, then she apologised and fled. Later that night we could hear their bed springs getting some exercise. But we laughed at her reaction and carried on with our lovemaking, I dont think we would have stopped if she had stayed to watch. It was all perfectly innocent and no-one suffered because of it.

So porn isn't what you do, but how you do it. Rather like the pictures on this blog Maja is nude and we can see almost all of her, she doesn't thrust or pout like the models in the top-shelf magazines and I feel her photos are perfectly innocent. The Top-Shelf mags mostly sell sex. Maja shows innocent beauty. The lower of the two pictures is mimicking a Top-Shelf pose and not actually doing it.
