It strikes me as odd that we can have flags, lectures, marches and media articles about various sexual proclivities Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, trans-sexual etc. But the merest hint Naturism throws everyone into hysterics.
Discuss, (in public) having sex in all its possible forms and it is quite acceptable. but the simple mention of the naturist body will cause you all sorts of outrage.
What makes the human body such an anathema to these people. After all if you are religious, you are supposed to be made in the image of your God.

This is so true. You hit on a big mystery that stumps me. How a society can be okay with talking or reading about sexual things, but frowns upon simple public nudity really baffles me. What sick societies we have!
