It could be a weekend for a nude hike, unfortunately since my back injury I have to use a mobility scooter and there aren't many private places I can get  with that.

I'm back

After a short stay in hospital (not covid) I am back. I'm not 100 percent, but I'll ad to the blog when I can. If any of you have anything you would like adding please contact me (comments is easiest).

We lost our dog Skipper at the weekend and will need time to recover, he was a big part of our lives.

Also I have found a couple of pictures that haven't been posted before and there may be more.

Day54

Nude swimming is a great way to enjoy yourself, the feeling of a naked body through the water has to experienced to fully appreciate it. These photos were at a friends pool in Germany, but if you don't have a pool, wild nude swimming is possible in the UK. Even in the bigger lakes if you find a remote place to launch and the sea is always available.

Day53

Open canoeing is a great hobby for naturists, the sun can reach your whole body, unlike kayaking which is more like putting clothes back on. SUPs are ok but you cant carry the whole family and you have to stand up all the time. also the open canoe can be easily used as wind break.

Day52

When we can go abroad again, without risk of quarantine on our return, where will we all be taking our holidays?

I suspect most will continue to follow like sheep to the Med without any thought of looking elsewhere. But there are lots of places that aren't crowded and are happy with nude sunbathing etc.

Take Germany, Sweden and Denmark for instance, all on the Baltic. The Baltic coast is great, the food is good and the drink is superb.  The Baltic sea has a tide range of about 20mm so the beaches are very safe. An added bonus is that many of the people speak English and are friendly.

Day51

As we all get older, the youthful figures disappear. The body looks more mature and eventually starts to spread. I suggest if you haven't started to spread yet, take regular exercise to guard against it. Keep fit, if you dont you will probably gain weight and various aches and pains. As you get older, it is hard enough to continue doing what you enjoy but if you allow yourself to spread and get unfit it will be a hundred times worse and believe me it is hard thinking about selling things that used to be your pride and joy, but you cant use now because of your health.

When I say keep fit, I'm not suggesting spending loads of money on Gyms. Swimming is good and if you go wild swimming it only costs the travel to get somewhere where you can do it and if it is wild enough, you could "nude wild swim" surely the ultimate expression of wild swimming. Cycling is good exercise and could be a good way to get to your wild swim. If you are looking for a bike try one of the Recumbent bikes and trikes, they are great. Of course there is also running and walking, possibly even nude hiking.

Out in the countryside in the nude gives a great feeling of freedom.

Cycling also gives the opportunity for going nude, there are various World Naked Bike Rides across the country, they are not fast and usually through the middle of a town or city. The police allow the properly organised ones and monitor them so it doesn't go beyond nude. Also as you explore your area by cycle you can find places where you could ride nude, some on minor roads and some on green lanes. Get out there and enjoy.

I purchased this a while ago and I wouldn't go back to an ordinary bike now
this is so much fun and with my bad back I have no trouble using it.

I have fitted a pedal assist for hills etc. hence the battery on the handlebars.

A lot of people I know are camping in their gardens and cooking on the campfire. if you are lucky you can go nude as well, using a tent or a gazebo could make your garden secure from prying eyes.

It's good to see the interest in the blog still. I have to apologise because I have no more publishable photos. You will have noticed the repeating of most of my pictures of Maja, but the only way is to repeat them again. I have some of myself that have not been published but they don't seem as popular, which is understandable she is a lot better looking than me. I will include some of me in with the pics of Maja and hope they don't put you off too much.

What is the difference between a loving couple photographed making love and a pair of porn stars having sex for money and the camera?

If you have never known true love between two people, you would probably say not much.

It is not easy to describe to someone who has never known a true love partnership. True love has no jealousy, because you trust your true love implicitly, True loves are proud of their partners.

Non of this applies to porn stars, with the possible exception of those few who actually love each other and are porn stars as well.

Not much over a hundred years ago the glimpse of an ankle was something shocking (as the song says). This relaxed in the 20s when flappers, shorter skirts and skinny dipping became popular with the rich young things. In the cities it was still thought shocking to show a knee. This continued until the end of the 50s, and 60s introduced the mini-skirt, hippies and free love.  Things quietened down with the maxi and midi dresses.  Apart from a brief period in the 60s, mens clothing has always been pretty dowdy.

Then along comes see through clothes for women and dowdy for men, with the exception of coloured shirts.  Now we have girls in micro skirts and bikini cut jeans and shorts just covering the fold. More people are skinny dipping, or sunbathing topless and nude. Some couples see nothing wrong in sharing a room with their mates and all making love with their own partners. Others go in for swapping, but go back to their own partners at the end of it. Keyring parties are apparently not uncommon. Of course we have all heard of Dogging and I read that some doggers are loving partners just satisfying an itch.

Couples volunteer for educational videos, I have seen one were happily married couples demonstrate intimate sexual methods for older couples. They appear to be loving couples who just have no problems with showing their lovemaking to others and on TV there are sex clinics.

So I think the line is blurring between what we see of porn stars and what we see of "normal" married couples. The digital  camera revolution has a lot to do with it. Of course some of us were taking nude pictures of their partners before digital and wish digital had come out earlier.

To finish I have often said, I love my wife and she loves me. I trust her completely as she trusts me. I have no jealousy over others seeing her naked pictures, or actually seeing her naked in public. As for people seeing us making love, It did happen by accident when a neighbour knocked and entered without stopping, we had a good laugh about it afterwards.

Beautiful weather again, sod's law we get the best weather for years and we cant enjoy it as we'd like. All we can do is hope it continues through the year.

It has been said that a lot of people on Lockdown have been spending their time naked. Even non-naturists have been naked and liking it.

I just removed a messy background with Photoshop. It was the result of paying too much attention to the model and not enough to the background. I'm not alone in this though, I saw some pictures of Marie Helvin and David Bailey seems to have made the same mistakes occasionally.

Things have been eased slightly, but I'm not sure if naturism counts as exercise. So we would probably have to swim and play badminton etc. But at least it's a chance for social nudity. Of course in parallel with that the weather has turned cold again. Hey-Ho.

Some people firmly believe that naturism is about sex and swapping etc and the net doesn't help when the porn sites claim to be naturist.

As a couple, Maja and I have been naturists for over forty years and neither of us has ever been involved in swinging, swapping dogging, etc. etc etc. we have been together and faithful during all that time. I suggest we are not unusual, yes some genuine naturists might stray, but I think they are in the minority. Of course we rarely hear from them, they are the silent majority, but they enjoy social nudity just the same.

What does clothing cost the environment?

Consider fashion, it's so bad it has to change every few months.

Most clothing is made in third world countries in sweat shops with no pollution controls and child labour. The clothes are not made of natural fibres, most are synthetic. They ship clothes round the world, again attacking the environment with emissions.
Most worn out, old clothes end up on the landfill sites of the world.

Without clothes we would save all this, the environment would benefit and so would our health and allergies. We wouldn't be generating so much waste water or using as much power for our washing machines.

Of course in Britain we cant go entirely without clothes, we would need coverings for inclement weather, but we don't need anything underneath. So when we get out of the cold, off with the coat and we are nude again.

Of course there are many benefits and one would be no flashers!!  no good flashing a nude.
Disadvantages - no pockets.

Do you think this too radical - I don't but it probably is for the majority of the population for now ... but who knows what will happen in the future.
